We are excited to announce that Sue Dickson, teacher and author of Sing, Spell, Read and Write just received this distinguished award from James Madison University, Harrisonburg, VA in March 2019! It was well deserved after her decades of faithful and undiminished enthusiasm to make all children in America read proficiently again! Sue has created many innovative programs for schools that are available on her website. Untold numbers of children have learned to read proficiently over the past half century because of her work. Her reading programs are as relevant today as when Sue created them.

Sue has recently distinguished herself as the author of Reading Winning Boost, a reading program for struggling readers who have not yet mastered the English alphabetic code. You can read more about this here.
