The Alphabetic Code Charts have been designed to increase understanding of the complex spelling system of the English language. They support the teaching and learning of the many letter/s-sound correspondences of the alphabetic code for reading and spelling – helping to make the code tangible for learners in a clear and logical way.
Many different versions are available from giant classroom displays to teachers’ versions with notes to mini ones – ideal for the table top and book bags.

Hi Anne, Thanks for posting the link to my range of free Alphabetic Code Charts - I do encourage people to investigate my charts as I've had fabulous feedback about them over the years from people with all sorts of roles and needs. They make the very complex English alphabetic code 'tangible' for young and old alike, for teachers and learners alike - and they are great for training student-teachers!

Here is an example of the kind of feedback I receive (and of course I gave permission - these charts will always be free to use and I hope people will spread the word):
Hello Debbie,

I discovered your very helpful Alphabetic Code Chart online the other day and I'd like to ask your permission to use it to teach some new English instructors. I work for the Houston Public Library and I'll be hosting a ESL training soon so that we can expand our classes here in Houston. We do not charge for our classes, as they are completely free and open to the public.

Would it be alright to use your fabulous chart?

Thank you for considering it,
