Tom Bennett's blog (Tom is a 'behaviour management' specialist in England)

You cannot run a school well enough, and educate children well enough, if there is constant disruption - be it minor or chaotic. Thus, a look at behaviour management is entirely relevant to a site featuring how best to teach literacy!

Tom Bennett's blog featuring behaviour issues is well worth a visit:

Tom is well known to many because of the 'researchED' initiative that is spreading rapidly in countries across the world. You can read about Tom's appointment by the Department for Education in England to address behaviour management in schools in England via this thread:

You can learn about Tom Bennett's profile and the 'researchED' movement here:

Tom Bennett has been teaching in the East End of London for thirteen years. Currently he is the Director and founder of researchED, a grass-roots, teacher-led project that aims to make teachers research-literate and pseudo-science proof. Since 2013 researchED has grown from a tweet to an international conference movement that so far has spanned three continents and six countries.
