This might be of interest to parents and teachers in Manitoba:

PARENT-EDUCATOR PARTNERSHIP FOR LITERACY ACHIEVEMENT

Our goal is to be a positive and empowering movement based upon collaboration and respect.

A movement has started, and we have reached out to families, teachers, academics, literacy groups, and school divisions to support improving literacy achievement for all Manitobans. To date our petition, “Improve Literacy Achievement for all Manitoba Students” has more than 600 supporters who have signed their name to acknowledge that change needs to happen.
