I think this is an important topic and it may well link to issues of available time and motivation for reading more outside school hours - and enabling a school-life balance.Cape Town primary school flourishes... after getting rid of homework

Sun Valley Primary in Cape Town has done away with conventional and uniform classroom homework in the school across all grades and the learners are excelling academically.
