Maryanne Wolf inspires us!
Professor Maryanne Wolf (pictured, right, with LDA president Dr Lorraine Hammond) was presented with LDA's Eminent Researcher Award at the recent AGM in Melbourne. During her visit to Australia, around 1000 parents, teachers, psychologists, speech pathologists and literacy advocates heard Professor Wolf share her research, wisdom, passion and wit at seminar sessions in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. She was joined by local literacy experts including Lorraine Hammond, Pamela Snow, Jennifer Buckingham, Hannah Stark and Alison Clarke.
