This survey and report by Ofsted is very interesting and very important.

It gives a clear steer for provision in Reception to fulfil the potential of every child. It has been received enthusiastically by some and with great consternation by others:

Although the report is about Reception settings in England, it may still be of interest to people in other countries - especially English-speaking countries and contexts.
